Why has there been so little philosophical content here?

It’s the philosophy…homework

I began this substack with the intention of providing a good bit of philosophizing on audiophilia and music reproduction. I’m a philosophy student, and I work full time, and I’m a married parent. Keeping up with all of that has not left me, during the current semester, with the energy and time to think about how music listening and Heidegger go together.

I’m beginning some papers, and it’s going to be exciting to research and write them under time pressure. I haven’t done myself any favors by starting them late. I just haven’t had much get up and go for the past few months, when it comes time to do schoolwork. I hope to bring some philosophical reflections on music listening to this blog when I’m done with the papers.
