This post is the most picture-heavy post I will have done. I just post these for your edification.
Here are photos at max eclipse phase of the Oct. 14, 2024 annular eclipse, seen from a park in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Eclipse lensed through maple tree leaves.
A family member took this photo at max phase. They were near Four Corners, in NE Arizona. We saw this too but did not get nearly this quality of photos.
Interesting shadow effect during eclipse.
