Finding an adapter (balanced headphone to 3.5-mm single-ended plug) has reminded me I hadn’t listened to my beautiful Sendy Peacock planar magnetic open-back circumaural headphones.
The first album I wanted to hear was a typically terrific concert recording at NYC’s Village Vanguard. Jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell has a magical album with Richard Davis on bass and Roy Haynes on drums.
The long and short is that these headphones help the liveness of the recording come through well. I look forward to much more tube listening with the Peacocks!
Happy listening!
