Flying with open-back headphones 🎧

Where’s my ANC!?

It’s nice to fly, but I had forgotten how loud a plane can be. The white noise interferes with music like crazy. I didn’t bring a pair of ANC headphones, and that was a mistake.  I didn’t bring a friend’s Skullcandy Hesh ANCs because I didn’t want to risk losing them on the trip. I brought my Focal Clear Mgs, which sound great in quiet conditions, but, even with the volume turned up, I can barely hear my music on the Cayin N7. At least I could hear the pre-flight instructions on the PA system aboard the plane.

The airport at our layover used fossil strata as floor tiles. There were a lot of ammonites.

And the California coast has my favorite sunsets.
